Frequently asked questions
How often should I test my water?
We recommend testing your hot tub or swim spa water 2–3 times per week. Strips and digital testers make it quick and easy.
What kind of chemicals will I need?
You’ll need a sanitizer (chlorine or bromine), pH balancer, alkalinity adjuster, and shock. Our staff can help build a kit that works for you.
Can I bring a water sample to your store for testing?
Yes! Bring us a fresh water sample and we’ll test it for free and recommend the right treatment products.
How often should I change my hot tub water?
Generally, every 3 to 4 months. Heavy use may require more frequent changes.
What should I do if my water looks green or foamy?
Green water may indicate algae, while foam often comes from soap or oil residues. Test and treat your water or contact us for help.
